Kentucky Owl® Takumi Edition is an artfully blended bourbon that provides whiskey lovers an insight into the flavor profiles sought after by a Japanese Whisky Master Blender. It is a special release that brings the best of Japanese whisky making skills to Kentucky Owl’s bourbon range. Kentucky Owl® Takumi Edition has been awarded 97 points by Tasting Panel magazine.

Batch #11 is a unique blended whiskey utilizing very particular well-aged, bold Bourbons ranging from 6-14 years old. The nose offers an immediate tingle in the nose from the combined rye grains in the bourbons and their age. Followed by a smooth caramel and vanilla pause. Lastly, comes a mild and gentle chocolate vanilla oak. The taste combines the spiciness of the bourbon grains, along with the tannins in the wood barrel which tingle with flavor, followed by a soft flow of bourbon vanilla tea and soft wine. The finish is mild as the tingle fades, with a soft apple lingering in the throat.

The first permanent release under Master Blender John Rhea, The Wiseman Straight Rye Whiskey is a traditional Rye made with a mash bill of 95% Rye. The Wiseman Rye Whiskey has been recognized for its unmatched quality has been awarded Double Platinum at the Ascot Awards in 2023. Other outstanding achievements include receiving Gold at the TAG Global Spirits Awards in 2023, Double Gold from Fifty Best in 2022, and Gold at the San Francisco World Sprits Competition in 2022. The Wiseman Rye Whiskey has also been awarded 94 points by Tasting Panel magazine.

Confiscated is a full-flavored and full-bodied bourbon whiskey that pays tribute to the barrels of Kentucky Owl® seized by the US government during Prohibition. This exceptional Bourbon been awarded 96 points by Tasting Panel magazine in addition to a Gold medal by TAG Global Spirits Awards and 96 points by International Wine & Spirit Competition in 2023. The nose offers floral notes of gardenia and honeysuckle, orange cuties, vanilla wafers, banana like wet banana bread, toasty notes like sourdough bread crust, grape and red apple fruit. The taste is of graham crackers, citrus, fresh squeezed orange juice, toffee, muted sweet cinnamon spice balanced with white grape notes, finishing with a hint of cayenne.

Rich in consistency and not forwardly spicy on the nose. Nutmeg and cinnamon give way to pepper spice with vanilla on the front and anise across the middle. Subtle cinnamon spice clings to the finish.
