Each malt in the 2023 Special Release Spirited Xchange introduces a world of flavor to explore and enjoy the diversity of the Scotch Whisky world. It’s been aged 27 years, matured in refill American and European Oak barrels and butts. The design is created by Dong Qiu, whose artwork merges Chinese aesthetics and contemporary art with bold use of modern colors and interpretations of classical auspicious motifs. On the nose are notes of citrus, almond, and vanilla. On the palate are notes of citrus, fruit, and oak with a dry and spicy finish.
