Shannon Ridge

This Petite Sirah is grown at high elevation, giving it amazing depth intenisty then aged for 5 months in freshly emptied bourbon barrels. The dark, playful notes of fresh blueberry and plum flow seamlessly into the complex flavor of bourbon barrel aged American oak. This wine is a decadent treat for the senses.

This Cabernet Sauvignon is produced in high elevation vineyards, and then aged for 5 months in freshly emptied bourbon barrels. The result is a velvety, rich Cabernet. The bourbon infused American oak flawlessly marries with the smooth tones of black currant and tobacco.

If Lake County could make a Super Tuscan, this would be close. This blend of Syrah, Barbera, Tempranillo, Cabernet, and Petit Verdot creates a powerful combination of flavor, structure and complexity.

The most pronounced varietals in this blend are Zinfandel for structure and richness. Petite Verdot for color and tannin. Merlot and Cab Franc for aromatics, and a splash of Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Shannon Ridge Wrangler Red is a fine, easy going wine; shows gentle red fruit flavors; bright and rascal-like in the finish.
