The color is amber with greenish glints. The nose is fine on a background of heather, vanilla and is nicly woody. The palate is full, nearly syrupy and floral. The lengeth of the finish is impressive.

The 1969 Glenlivet is aged in Port Wood, making it extremely dark in color. Smooth and creamy, with hints of pear and sherbet. A beautiful lingering finish makes this a special Scotch.

Aged in light oak casks, not sherry, which allows the whisky a chance to stand on it's own. The 1974 Macallan features apricots and raisins joining the malted barley flavor mix.

A creamy, toffee nose introduces a spicy cinnamon flavor. The finish is dry with lingering smoky vapors.

Very few independent bottlings of Bunnahabain are available. The Scotts Selection is light and fruity with hints of peat, nuts, and honey. Great mouth feel with the flavors lingering to the finish.
