SPECTATOR SELECTION, 94 PTS WINE SPECTATOR. The '99 Whitehall Lane is a real mouthfull of Cabernet. Ripe, rich and plush, with mouthcoating currant and blackberry flavors; deep and concentrated.

88 PTS WINE SPECTATOR. Well-proportioned, with supple textured plum and black cherry fruit and hints of currant and anise, finishing with impressive focus and length; drink the '98 now through 2006.

Whitehall has come out with a very limited quantity of Knights Valley Merlot. Rich and focused, with layers of raspberry, blackberry and plum. A very special wine!

93 PTS WINE ENTHUSIAST. So ripe in blackcurrant and mocha fruit, so rich in sweet tannins, so well-structured, the '01 Whitehall Lane is an impeccable Cabernet that's beautiful now, but should hold.

The '00 is ripe and juicy, with appealing pear, apple, spice, citrus and toast flavors that linger on the clean finish.
