Always a blend of five Bordeaux varietals, the 2012 Pentad consists of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 11% Petit Verdot, 8% Merlot, 7% Malbec, and 7% Carmenere.

93 PTS WINE ENTHUSIAST. A dusty, sweet berry and pepper nose leads into black plum, olive and pepper palate on top of firm tannins and juicy acidity. The finish is a red berry and tannin interplay.

91 PTS WINE SPECTATOR. The Seven Hills 7 Hills Merlot '10 is vibrant, with a plush texture to the focused curant, violet and flint flavors, shaded with crisp tannins. The finish lingers effortlessly.

Seven Hills Red is a great value, a fine blend of several varietals that brings out the best in each.

Seven Hills produces one of Oregon's very best Pinot Gris. This one shows plenty of dried citrus flavors, weighty on the palate; crisp in the finish; a fine choice with simply prepared seafoods.

90 PTS WINE ENTHUSIAST. The '07 Seven Hills Merlot is broad, soft and open with lovely and fragrant violets; loaded with beautiful sweet black fruit; really tasty, pleasing and a fine value.

Seven Hills producer a pretty rich style of Riesling. Loaded with apples, peach skin and flowers; medium bodied, with a touch of sweetness; works well with a chicken salad.
