Very expressive, great purity in the aromatics and flavors, so much to like without being heavy. 14% ABV.

Golden color; notes of lemongrass; green apples; pear and tropical fruits; medium to full bodied on the palate with exotic flavors of coconut and vanilla. Great to serve with a seafood salad.

BRONZE MEDAL, 2001 SAN DIEGO NAT'L WINE COMPETITION. A fusion of Italian and French red varietals, the '98 Pietra Santa Sasso Rosso is a robust and lasting wine; a great match with a hearty chili.

87 PTS WILFRED WONG. Rustic and Old World in style, the finely-crafted '05 Pietra Santa Sangiovese comes through quite well as a counterpart to Tuscany's Chianti; drinks well now.

Aged in French oak for over two years, this is a robust red with a blend of bold fruit flavors, like black cherry. It surprises with hints of chocolate. ABV 14.8%
