BRONZE MEDAL, 2009 SAN FRANCISCO CHRONICLE WINE COMP. Lightly aromatic, the easy-to-drink '06 Montpellier Viognier is a satisfying wine; an excellent aperitif choice; give it a good chill.

SILVER MEDAL, 2011 SAN FRANCIOCO CHRONICLE WINE COMP. The '09 Montpellier Syrah is firm and built on the palate; fine support from ripe fruit and vanilla flavors.

A light and breezy wine, the Montpellier White Merlot is soft, slightly sweet and delicious; great for lighter fare and causual get-togethers; pair with the American classic-fried chicken.

BRONZE MEDAL, PITTSBURG SEAFOOD FESTIVAL 5TH ANNUAL ZINFANDEL CHAMPIONSHIP. A pretty wine with uncommon complexity, the '99 Montpellier Zinfandel is lively with fine raspberry and chocolate nuances.

A very mild-mannered wine with floral and citrus notes. Light pear flavors, and a whisper of wood show in the finish. Very pleasing!

Smooth and delicate with nice flavors of spicy strawberry, vanilla and raspberry notes. Great to serve with semi hard cheeses or with a light salad.

Soft and friendly, the Montpellier Merlot is one of California best red wine values; at this price point, an excellent everyday wine.
