Medium deep color with wonderful spice and black currants and raspberry aromas; well balanced on the palate expressing dark fruit flavors with a moderate amount of tannins.

85 PTS WILFRED WONG. A pleasant effort, the bright and nicely ripened '04 Monterra Chardonnay is easy and smooth on the palate; give this wine a good chill and pair with scallops in a cream sauce.

Delicious and lasting, medium deep ruby color; whiffs of blueberry jam and crushed blackberries; ripe and quite intense flavors on the palate; great to serve with roasted meats.

Poised with perfectly positioned flavors, the smooth and easy-going Monterra Merlot represents a solid wine in the marketplace; a good match with grilled chicken.
