The Oracle is an exceptionally balanced, full-bodied red blend made from grapes grown at Stagecoach Vineyard in the eastern hills of Napa Valley.

The 2012 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon shows impressive depth, richness and refinement on the palate. Generous black fruit flavors are accented by hints of dried herb, mocha and cedar.

91 PTS CONNOISSEURS' GUIDE. The Miner Family Vyds Stagecoach Cabernet is somewhat smoky and briary in scent; surprises with deeper and better endowed flavors than promised; has richness and depth.

91 PTS WILFRED WONG. A really active chard, the brisk '07 Miner Family Vyd Wild Yeast Chardonnay has plenty of bravado and power; incredible personality comes through here; long, lusty finish.

90 PTS ROBERT PARKER, JR. The '04 Miner Oracle has spicy aromatics intertwined with some lush blackberry and cassis fruit that is opulent on the palate, with full body, silky tannins.

93 PTS CONNOISSEURS' GUIDE. The '03 Miner Oracle is a masterful blend of Bordelaise varietals; fixes on very deep and fairly classic Cabernet fruit while finding nuances of herbs, briary spice.

91 PTS WILFRED WONG. A superb white, the delicately aromatic '07 Miner Viognier begins with the fragrance of peach fuzz and flowers before its crescendo of ripe, core fruit flavors; long aftertaste.

Shows lots of wood and some buttery notes, this rich Chardonnay is a power-packed white wine; fine, tart apple notes in the aftertaste.

The Miner Family Merlot is a wine with full, ripe fruit flavors; round and textured on the palate.
