89 PTS WINE SPECTATOR. The '04 Mauro Molino Barolo has pure fruit on the nose, with strawberry and plum character; full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a nut, berry and cedar aftertaste.

92 PTS WINE SPECTATOR. The '03 Mauro Molino Barolo has very pretty aromas of ripe plum; fresh flowers and sandalwood that lead to a full-bodied palate, with velvety tannins; long caressing finish.

90 PTS WINE SPECTATOR. The '01 Mauro Molino Borolo is very typical, with roses, plums and lightly toasted oak; medium- to full-bodied, with fine tannins and a long, caressing finish; best after 2007.
