Medium straw, yellow color; ripe fruit and creamy in the aroma; medium bodied, layered on the palate; creamy, with ripe peaches in the flavors.

85 PTS WILFRED WONG. The red-fruited '05 MacRostie Merlot cuts a bright and tart look at the varietal; driven with a fine edge, this well-balanced wine works well with an herb-crusted salmon.
