2 STARS CONNOISSEURS' GUIDE! The 1998 is long on ripe berries and filled out with lots of spicy oak. Fleshy, fruit laden, and finely balanced. Delicious!

The Fife Mendocino Uplands Zinfandel is a good, medium bodied red with fine textures and balance.
