Intense with notes of violet, balsamic and small red berries. Elegantly complex and persistent with nuances of red fruit, tobacco and licorice; takes on notes of truffle and cinnamon as it ages.

This is not your gradfather's Barolo; more dense, with ripe fruit concentration, creamy new oak, and fresh damp earth; wonderful structure with the classic rose petal and cherry nuances.
