Beautiful layers of spice, red fruit and earth; silky palate with complex finish; blackberry and dark fruit plum inlaid with black currant and supported by a minty, spicy edge.

Rich, opulent and aromatic; silky and graceful; aromas of Granny Smith Apples; passion fruit and lemon rind become ripe pears, spice and minerals on the palate; Riesling, Sauv Blanc, and Chenin Blanc.

Juicy watermelon, rhubarb, and cranberry laced with mineral and herb notes; soft and fruity; long and fine finish. Made with Zinfandel, Grenache, and Muscat grape varietals.

87 PTS WINE SPECTATOR. The '08 Arizona Stronghold Nachise is medium-weight, with solid cherry, plum and red currant fruit notes layered with incense and black tea hints. Nicely taut on the finish.

86 PTS WILFRED WONG. The '08 Arizona Stronghold Tazi is a full-bodied, unctuous style, with lots of tangerine, apricot, lemon peel and grapefruit pulp notes backed by a broad, slightly waxy finish.
