Ingredients:
1 bottle (750 ml) Apothic Winemaker's Red Blend
1/4 cup of Hennessy VS Cognac
8 whole cloves
2 cinnamon sticks
1 orange, sliced
Preferred sweetener (we recommend brown sugar or honey) to taste
Instructions:
Heat all ingredients on medium-low heat in a saucepan. You just want to activate the spices to release their flavor and warm up the liquid; you want to avoid simmering the liquid and evaporating the alcohol.
Strain into serving pitcher.
