Château Siran

Siran 2014 has perhaps the most sophisticated bouquet. There is real definition and focus here, more precision than recent vintages have shown. The palate is medium-bodied with tensile tannin. There is good acidity, energetic and animated in the mouth with a vivacious finish that has class.

91 PTS WINE SPECTATOR. The '05 Ch Siran shows attractive blackberry and spice character, with hints of meat and toasty oak. Medium- to full-bodied, with velvety tannins and a chewy finish.

89 PTS WINE ADVOCATE. The '00 Ch Siran is highly-extracted, powerful, chewy, ripe black currant aromas mixed with fennel, leather, iron, and new oak; full, dense, and potentially long-lived.
